The Department of Pediatrics at Mansoura University Faculty of Medicine was established in 1970 by Professor: Mahdi Al-Basousi as part of the main university hospital, then the department was transformed into the Children’s Hospital at Mansoura University since 1998. The Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University is committed to advancing the health of infants, children and adolescents through care Innovative medicine, research and training, with more than a hundred pediatricians in various pediatric specialties, and our department is one of the largest departments in the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University. The department attracts medical students, trainees, residents, and graduate fellows by offering broad-based training in general pediatrics, critical care, and pediatric subspecialties. These programs are closely integrated with our teaching activities, providing hands-on learning to equip our graduates with the skills they will need as future advocates for children's health. Furthermore, we embrace an ethic of social responsibility that expands healthcare services and expertise through community partnerships.
