Welcome to the Department of Pediatrics - Mansoura University
The Department of Pediatrics includes approximately eighty faculty members and their assistants distributed among six general pediatric departments and eleven sub-specialized units. The department is one of the leading pediatric departments in the universities of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Our mission includes many aspects: teaching the pediatric curriculum for the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, providing high-quality patient care in all pediatric specialties, participating in all areas of scientific research in pediatrics, and finally training and educating the next generation of pediatric service providers. We strive to be the best in the field of teaching, training, and providing medical service. We offer a broad educational experience to undergraduate trainees and postgraduate students and provide continuing professional development in all areas of general pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties. Our faculty are always keen to teach, mentor and engage. The department includes many members of the body participating in committees examining the scientific production of applicants for promotion to the ranks of professor and assistant professor affiliated with the Supreme Council of Universities. We are always keen to adhere to quality standards in teaching and in providing medical service within the framework of the vision of the university and college.
