Hospital Goals
Long-term goals :
1- Establishing two floors above the clinic building for vertical expansion.
2- Raising efficiency and developing intensive care and operations wing.
3- Re-utilizing the workshop building by rebuilding it into a multi-storey building for vertical expansion.
4- Customer satisfaction (patients and their attendants).
5- Analyzing data using special programs for data analysis and preparing tables and graphic statistics for all departments in order to assist the administration in clear vision and decision-making based on data.
6- Obtaining the JCI.
7- Designing a safe corridor for rubbish and medical waste in the form of a tube made of sheet metal that is placed along the length of the hospital. It has an opening at the every floor, in which bags are thrown to reach directly to the rubbish bin at the bottom of the building (creating safe handling of waste).
8- Launching an automatic drug dispensing system through an ATM
It provides a self-dispensing service for medicines, ATM, for medicines 24 hours a day, seven days a week
9- Establishing electronic gates for the hospital to control entry and exit from the hospital and control all hospital exits while reducing human intervention.
Medium-term goals :
1- Preparing indicators to measure the performance of medical and administrative operations in order to assess the current situation in accordance with international standards in this regard.
2- Completion of a project to raise the efficiency and develop the neonatal unit.
3- Completion of the central air-conditioning system.
4- Completion of the project to raise the efficiency and develop the sensitivity and endoscopy unit.
5- Completing the construction of 4 storage rooms on top of the main building.
6- Completing the replacement and renovation of the second floor and section 4
7- Completing the electronic system for providing medical services (Ibn Sina) by entering the results of specialized units into the electronic system.
8- Completion of the Mobile Application program in cooperation with the Attack-19 team at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University.
9- Obtaining the Egyptian Accreditation for Hospital Management (NSR).
10- Applying for the Government Excellence Award in the name of Children's Hospital - Mansoura University.
11 - Create packaging modulePackaging Unit.
12 - Developing a protocol for the rational use of antibiotics
13 - Establishing a central training unit to be affiliated with human resources and responsible for training all sectors of the hospital.
Short-term goals:
1- Establishing a parenteral nutrition unit TPN.
2- Establishing an Extemporaneous preparation unit.
3- Establishing an IV Mix Unit
4- Complete the activation of the documentary cycle in All departments in the hospital.
5- Restructuring employees and distributing them to departments according to work needs and job titles.
7- Completing the formation of the Code Blue team.
8- Preparing a planned internal audit to be carried out by the hospital's internal audit team, with follow-up on the implementation of its results.
9- Developing and increasing the capacity of the ticket room to double its work, as the current situation is not suitable for work in light of the large increase in the number of visitors.
