Children's Hospital Achievements
1- According to the digital transformation within the University, the Children's Hospital has developed an electronic reservation system through a card containing a barcode on the Ibn Sina system, coinciding with the digital transformation with the use of all electronic systems.
2- Work has begun on the Egyptian standards and a team has been formed.
We started working according to the Egyptian standards, forming a team to work, organizing meetings in the presence of the members that do the work, and the training began code blue policies, and a policy has already been worked on, as well as some medical policies, as the Children’s Hospital is one of the first hospitals in Mansoura University to start making that policy
3- Purchasing an ultrasound machine in the heart unit that works with the latest technology, as it is distinguished by seeing the catheters on the device screen, at a cost of approximately 3 million pounds, for the year 2020 AD.
4- Purchase a bronchoscope for the sensitivity unit.
5- According to the quality standards, a triage team was established to classify the patient before the patient entered the hospital.
6- Replacing and renewing the neonatal unit, to reach a capacity of 40 incubators.
7- Replacing and renovating the hemodialysis unit at a cost of 3,500,000 pounds.
8- Based on the vision and strategy of the state to pay attention to the sector of children with kidney failure, the capacity of the artificial kidney unit was renewed and increased in order to develop the level of quality of dialysis for children with the latest and best technologies in the world, as well as the use of the highest standards of international specifications for the safety and security of the child, as well as following all policies to prevent the spread of infection. Its opening in 2021 AD. The capacity of the unit was increased three/7/5 times its previous capacity to reach a maximum of 120 children. The unit was also equipped with a washing water treatment plant with the latest technology, with a strict procedure to follow up the treatment processes.
9- Starting to establish a central air-conditioning system with the latest international technologies, which is based on changing the air to suit infection control policies.
10- Providing an oxygen tank other than the old one, which led to the provision of an oxygen reserve with a capacity of 11 thousand liters.
11- Replacing and renovating the remaining 4 hospital elevators, at a total cost of one million five hundred thousand pounds.
12- Changing the electrical panels in the hospital with panels of modern technology that can bear the increasing electrical loads in the hospital in March 2020.
